Biography After several years of playing in other groups together, the guys decided to put their own band together in 2007. Going months without a name and nowhere to regularly rehearse, they eventually found an old warehouse building bearing the faded letters "Rocket Transfer." Two problems solved. Catchy, smart songwriting and great performances get and keep people's attention. The band has developed a reputation for high-quality, high-energy shows and, in addition to headlining shows throughout the region, has been asked to open for national acts including Kutless, The Dreaming, and Trust Company. Rocket Transfer released a 5-song EP in 2008 that has been well received by fans, with "See Beautiful" currently in rotation on several Des Moines radio stations. The band is heading back into the studio in 2009 to complete their first full-length album. Instrumentation Jeremy Richards (Lead Vocals, Bass), Harley Hess (Guitar), Jacob Moyer (Guitar, Keyboard, Vocals), and Bob Brice (Drums).
